The International Department of the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University carried out a practice investigation of Bashu culture

Whether the legend of Sima Xiangru and Zhuo Wenjun is still spread？The Shu Road in Li Bai's "Shu Road is Difficult" is really more difficult than climbing to heaven？Worried about the country and the people of Du Fu and army horse, busily engaged Lu You, why in Chengdu to write beautiful leisurely poems？What kind of aura does the landscape of Meizhou have that endowed Su Shi with superhuman talent and magnanimity？

With the doubts and questions in learning, the International Department of Tsinghua High School extended the Chinese class from the majestic Beijing city to Bashan Shushui。From June 5 to 10, under the leadership of Chinese teachers Lei Qiaoying, Liu Yangyang and physical education teacher Richard Moore, 29 students from Grade 10 of the International Department traveled thousands of miles and embarked on a cultural investigation and practice trip of "Ancient Shu Tianfu, Pleasant Chengdu"。

In the former residence of the cottage, the children were surprised to find that the hut with the "autumn wind howling in August" was not bitter at all, but the mountains and waters were quiet and good, no wonder Du Fu wrote this period, "the butterfly always dances in the company, and the beautiful warbles are just crying in freedom.。In the temple of Wu Hou, the children revisited the historical stories of three visits to the cottage, the peach garden, and seven arrests of Meng, and lamented the courtesy of Liu Bei Corporal and Zhuge Liang's loyalty of "dedication and dedication until death"。In the old path of Qintai, the children met the sculpture of "Fengqiu Huang", along the Han Dynasty stone stone, and imagined the moving scene of "Wen Jun when the Lou, the phase like a scrubber"。In the memorial hall of Xue Tao, the children listened to the story of Xue Tao and Yuan Zhen, followed the style of the ancients, and used Xue Tao's paper to pass the book to distant relatives and friends。

In the beautiful Dujiangyan Giant Panda Research Center, the children had a comprehensive understanding of the panda's life。In addition to lying on the wall looking at the cute panda clapping and laughing, the children also had close contact with the panda。Under the guidance of the panda keepers, the children in groups cleaned the cat house for the panda, cleaned the panda poop, fed the panda, and made multi-grain pastries for the panda, and were busy and excited, fantasizing that they were also a panda wandering in the bamboo forest。

In addition to the panda's languor and playfulness, the children also experienced the city life and leisure of Chengdu for themselves。In the Jinjiang Theatre, the children witnessed the magic of Sichuan opera's changing face and the hard work of Bashu artists。In the Museum of Shu Embroidery, the children watched the exquisite and complex technique of Shu brocade and marveled at the elegance of the warp and weft.I also watched the exquisite embroidery of Shu embroidery and lamented its delicacy and beauty.Under the guidance of the teachers in the embroidery hall, I personally experienced the beauty and joy of embroidery。In the Jin Li and wide narrow alley, the children gluttons the spicy fresh fragrance of the tip of the tongue, linger in the neon lights, intoxicated and do not know the way back。At the Sichuan Cuisine Museum, the children traced the history of Sichuan cuisine, tasted Bashu snacks, experienced the fun of grinding tofu, making bean slices, wrapping salted duck eggs, and finally cooked their own mapo tofu, Kung bao chicken and steamed panda dumplings under the guidance of the chef。In Wangjianglou Park, children teach Sichuan dialect to old people walking, and the different accents make people laugh。

Finally in Sanxingdui, the children touched the source of Bashu civilization with their own eyes。The mystery of the sacred tree of Fusao and the strangeness of the bronze vertical mask make the legend of silkworm cluster and fish wing in "Shu Dao Difficult" no longer at a loss。In the fish mouth, watching the turbulent river water in the upper reaches of the Minjiang River, through the transformation of Li Bing and his son, how to flow calmly into the Chengdu plain from the flying sand weir and the mouth of the vase, watering the comfort and leisure of Chengdu life。In the quiet and verdant Qingcheng Mountain, the children follow the footsteps of the former Taoist priest, visit the secret of Taoist health, and then climb to the top of the Laojun Pavilion, understand the mysterious realm of Lao Tzu's "road selfless"。

On the one hand, such literary masters as Sima Xiangru and Du Fu;On one side is the world wonder of Dujiangyan and giant pandas;On the other hand, it is the fireworks of Jinli and wide and narrow alleys。After only a few days of travel and experience, the children seem to have realized that the poetry and comfort of life in Bashu are inseparable from the mysterious long history of this land, superior geographical conditions and profound humanistic literacy。

The Bashu Culture practice visit is one of the series of Chinese culture exploration and practice activities of the International Department, aiming to integrate the knowledge of Chinese history and geography with the Chinese classroom through field visits and practice, so that the children who are about to enter the international stage can personally experience the long and diverse Chinese culture。
